Julia White is a mixed media artist and art educator from Santa Cruz, California. She works in a variety of mediums such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, pyrography, resin, screen printing, monotype, airbrush, glass fusion and collage; and her work is as varied as her mediums. She is often commissioned for tattoo designs and portraits. Julia also works with henna, jagua, face and body paint.
The artist has obtained an Associate’s Degree in Art History from Cabrillo College with honorable mention, a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from San Francisco State University as a member of the dean’s list and a Master’s Degree in Education with a focus in Art from Humboldt State University. Her thesis is entitled: Gender Representation in Art Pedagogy.
